Job advertisement: Social Media & Public Relations

We are looking for a public relations manager at the Forum Stadtpark starting 1st March, 2025.

At Forum Stadtpark, an interdisciplinary centre for art and culture in Graz's city park, we are looking for an agile person with good social and communication skills who is very familiar with computers, smartphones and social media. Ideally, you should already have experience and/or training in this field, feel at home in a lively and diverse centre for arts and culture and have an interest in socio-political issues.

As part of your role, you will write texts, post events on our website (German/English), manage our social media channels (currently Facebook and Instagram), think about how events are advertised and presented online, do social media work at our events, send out our weekly newsletter and work with our graphic designer. You may also be able to take on press work in a further step.

  • Familiarity with the dynamics of online applications and social media
  • Organised, forward-thinking, proactive way of working
  • the ability to formulate quick, concise contributions as well as a ‘feel’ for images
    and texts that match the style of Forum Stadtpark
  • A friendly, respectful way of communicating
  • basic knowledge of designing and editing images and articles
    an advantage
  • Experience in the arts and cultural field is an advantage
  • a certain degree of stress resistance and critical faculties
  • very good knowledge of German and English
  • presence in our office about half of the time
