The literature section of Forum Stadtpark organizes contemporary, experimental literature, focusing on collective forms and queer-feminist perspectives.
Literature is understood as a social practice: intermedia formats and dialogue with the audience are key topics. The focus is not only on literary texts, but also on the conditions of production and power relations under which literature is created, which are reflected upon in discourse events.
The literature section sees itself as part of the literary scene in Graz and focuses on collaborations with local actors. The promotion of new literary voices is a priority.

Cooperation: Weltwortreisende. Transnational Literature Festival
The sixth edition of the transnational literature festival Weltwortreisende will take place in October 2026. The festival sees itself as a meeting place for contemporary literature beyond geographical, linguistic, and cultural boundaries. After the festival was established by the previous section representative Fiston Mwanza Mujila, Forum Stadtpark remains a cooperation partner for the festival.
