Day after day, we use terms that are so common and so much a part of everyday understanding that we usually do not even communicate about their actual meaning, their history and their various forms. The Conference for Practical Criticism is intended to enable a fundamental discussion of these terms and concepts and, above all, to provide space for critique and discussion of alternatives.
The Conference for Practical Critique is dedicated to a new term each year: state (2018), democracy (2019), utopia (2020) and transformation (2021).
