Ehua has been making waves since the release of her 2018 debut EP, Diplozoon. Known for her thoughtful approach to sound and rhythm, as well as her bold and versatile DJ sets, she has developed a style that is both dynamic and emotionally resonant.
Over the years, Ehua has earned a reputation as an original, skilled selector, regularly performing at some of the world’s most iconic clubs and festivals. Her broad collection of mixes and long-running residency on Rinse FM offer an ongoing glimpse into her wide-ranging influences and rhythmic sensibilities, often rooted in percussive textures and shifting tempos.
Ehua’s distinctive signature sound and unique approach to composition and songwriting set her apart as a forward-thinking independent artist. Her prolific discography exudes depth and intentionality, marked by a careful balance of texture, structure, and mood. Her productions reflect an artist who is always evolving and pursuing new creative directions that explore the fluid intersections of sound, identity, and meaning.
With releases on labels such as svbkvlt , Fabric Records, Nervous Horizon, Tratratrax, Exit Records, Ninja Tune, and her forthcoming debut LP Panta Rei on 3024 Music, Ehua stands as a singular voice — consistently shapeshifting while remaining rooted in her artistic truth.
Beyond music, Ehua has a lifelong interest in the arts, which she cultivates as a means of self-expression and ontological research within her practice. A producer, writer, and creative director of all of her projects—including the forthcoming short film titled after her debut LP — Ehua is also a mentor and educator. She composes soundtracks for films and multidisciplinary dance performances and is part of the Rome-based arts collective Griotmag/Spazio Gri.
