Connor – aka COZi – came up through Sydney/Eora’s club scene by a route few producers share: a background as a professional dancer. That foundation shapes everything. Where most DJs read a room, COZi reads it physically – transitions land with a dancer’s precision, sets build with a body’s awareness of momentum and release. The result is something felt as much as heard.
His sound sits in the pocket of 2000s-rooted house and tech-house: sexy, heavy, groove-locked, and unambiguously physical. Raw drum programming and low-end weight anchor tracks that never sacrifice swing for severity. It’s music made by someone who has spent years understanding the dancefloor on a level deeper than most ears can follow.
After establishing himself on Sydney’s circuit, COZi relocated to Austria, trading a familiar scene for the chance to build something new in Europe. In early 2025 he launched Energy In Motion, his own imprint and the clearest statement of his direction – a label focused on purposeful, club-ready releases built to be felt as much as heard. His debut EP, The 5th Dimension, followed: a cohesive collection of house grooves that moves with intention, never losing power or drive.
With releases planned through 2026 and into 2027, COZi arrives in the European scene with a clear identity and the kind of dancefloor instinct that tends to be self-evident the moment the music starts.
