What would an anti-fascist economy look like? In opposition to other proposals – such as Isabella Weber's recent claim – Clara Mattei calls for a radical economic shift away from capitalism as the only viable option. Her book Escape From Capitalism is a manifesto arguing that it is, in fact, possible to replace the dominant economic model of our time and make way for a different future, with neither fascist dominance nor capitalist exploitation.

Clara E. Mattei is Professor of Economics at The University of Tulsa and the President of FREE: Forum for Real Economic Emancipation.

The talk is part of the conference on contemporary fascism and forms of resistance.
