Cultural education means education for cultural participation. Cultural participation, in turn, means participation in the cultural events of a society. It is one of the prerequisites for a successful life in various dimensions. Cultural education is a constitutive component of general education and, especially for children and young people, an indispensable part of their development.

Within the framework of the event, we will address issues of "promoting cultural participation and cultural education for young people". With examples from practice we want to initiate ideas for cooperation and in the joint discussion we want to deal with the greatest challenges in the mediation of cultural formats for young people, give space to the concerns of those involved and discuss possibilities for action for increased cooperation.

The aim of the event is to promote the mediation of cultural formats for young people also in the context of youth work and to strengthen the exchange and cooperation between actors in the youth and cultural field.
