Tour with Anela Dumonjić and Derya Özkaya in English

The first edition of this urban walk on colonial entanglements in Graz was developed in 2024, when it was almost overrun by around 150 visitors. The walk, which departs from the myth that Austria has no colonial history, will now be continued. Using Graz as an example, it addresses the continuities of racist and colonial imagery in urban spaces, the so-called "soft" colonialism of the Habsburg Empire in south-east Europe, and the current involvement of Graz' economy in neo-colonial projects.
