Before we eat dinner together, the Women*s Action Forum invites you to an informative keynote speech by democracy researcher Daniela Ingruber. She will give us a well-founded insight into the current government programme of Styria and shed light on the effects it has on equal rights, equal treatment and diversity.
Moderation: Senida Alibegović.
Together we will discuss how the position of women* in the public sphere is changing and what challenges this poses.

About Daniela Ingruber
Daniela Ingruber moves between science, evaluation, journalism and storytelling. She works as a democracy and war researcher at the Institute for Strategic Analyses and as an evaluator (including respect.lu; ‘Good Council for Redistribution’). She also advises film projects and film festivals and works as a lecturer at Austrian and international universities.
Current research topics: Understanding democracy, dystopian democracy, political education, conspiracy legends & fake news, ethical journalism, conflict transformation.
Almost every month, we host a different initiative, group or collective for our format Forum Küche. On these events, you can enjoy a vegetarian or vegan meal together and chat informally. You can enjoy the food for a voluntary donation - the evening's proceeds then go to the initiative in question.
This format has been taking place in various forms for more than ten years at Forum Stadtpark. After a break due to the covid-19 pandemic, the Forum Küche was re-established in 2022. It almost always takes place on the last Wednesday of the month at 18:00.
