In her multimedia work, Marie Salcedo Horn (born 1995) examines the relationship between humans and the more-than-human. She explores the question of man's understanding of nature. Through her performances and installations, she wants to explore, among other things, where the boundaries between having a body and being a body lie and what humans need in order to connect with the non-human world. The possibility of touching her works haptically and the sensual experience play a central role in this. In 2023 she graduated as a master student at the Berlin University of the Arts and is a scholarship holder of the Eberhard Roters Scholarship for Young Art, Bernhard Heiliger Award for Sculpture and the Keramikkünstlerhaus Neumünster. She has had solo exhibitions at Kunsthaus Dahlem, Museum Moderner Kunst Wörlen Passau and has been part of group exhibitions in Ecuador, Japan, Poland and Germany.
