What is is
During the summer months of 2021, five photographers intensively studied the building and structure of the artists' association Forum Stadtpark. Although it is the same place and the same starting point, the photographs show different perspectives: The building is not used as a motif but as a point of view, seen as a stage, discovered room by room or made into a mirror of human perception. The familiar is re-experienced and the unknown is explored - from the basement to the roof, to the ceiling and back on the ground. In sum, a playful self-representation of the interdisciplinary artists' association emerges, as well as a conceptualization of the architecture of Forum Stadtpark.
