To remember means to forget - Christoph Schlingensief Exhibition 2020
Last summer, shortly after the first lockdown and in a feeling of general uncertainty, an extraordinary, multi-layered project took place at Forum Stadtpark. Christoph Schlingensief. The Graz Actions - Memories, Contexts, Present became the event.
One year later, the initiators present a book that brings the program to life once again. Between partly unpublished Schlingensief material, performances, films and an exhibition, the book shows Schlingensief's relevance for the artistic-political action.

The film In das Schweigen hineinschreien by Bettina Böhler portrays the life and work of director and artist Christoph Schlingensief and displays four decades of cultural and political discourse.
The book Sich erinnern heißt vergessen - edited by Martin Baasch, Elisabeth Fiedler, Claudia Gerhäusser and Heidrun Primas - was written with the participation of the project's protagonists and will be published by Forum Stadtpark Verlag in 2021.
