St.A.i.R. Artist Talk

Reading with Eric Erhardt

Guest production

Eric Ehrhardt, Styrian Artist in Residence for May and June 2024, is currently working on the commodity form of language and the reification of meaning.

These issues are realised both in a narrative on marketing warfare and in thing poems. The visual language of marketing is reflected in 3D images, which he uses to illustrate his texts.

During his stay in Graz, he worked on two manuscripts - the prose "Im Klauhof “ and the poetry collection
”Ganz mein Dings’. In a multimedia reading, Ehrhardt gives us an insight into his production before his departure.
