It is no secret that literature is a space for confrontation between different ideas and opinions. Writing involves positioning oneself; novels, poetry volumes, and theatre all negotiate ways both commonly-held facts and ways of seeing the world. Ultimately, every dispute also involves some form of dialogue. For these reasons, manuskripte and FORUM STADTPARK invite the current writer-in-residence of Graz, Andrea Scrima, to investigate the topic of “Streit” (“Dispute”) from a literary and philosophical perspective.
