Anna Grenzner (Barcelona, 1993) is a cellist and performer deeply engaged with the social responsibility of her performance practice. In parallel with her activity as ensemble and chamber musician, she dives into the sides of improviser, mover and curator and focuses her current work on interdisciplinary interactions around contemporary music and corporeality.
As a cellist she has participated in various contemporary music festivals such as the Klangspuren Schwaz (Austria), the Impuls Festival (Graz, Austria) or the Mixtur Festival (Barcelona, Spain). She has worked with composers such as Rebecca Saunders or Brian Ferneyhough, performers from Klangforum Wien, Ensemble Modern or Ensemble Recherche and improvisers such as Elisabeth Harnik or Jöelle Léandre.
Anna is founding member of LaKT Ensemble, where she works for reshaping relational structures and rethinking traditional roles and hierarchies in the artistic practice.
